So that DS9 admiral (in the episode where Dr Bashir was revealed as an augment) didn't say the Eugenics wars date wrong after all. I remember at the time some posters on this board had a meltdown thinking they were intentionally moving the Eugenic Wars date, and writer Ronald Moore admitted he made a mistake. But all is good now.

On the different views of Kahn. Go on some right of centre communities(Not even far right) and you will find posts praising Pinochet and even some "Franaco wasn't as bad as the Fascist Dictators". Another Example is Oliver Cromwell(similar span between TOS and the Eugenics Wars) who is seen depending on the view point as a genocidal military dictator or a champion of Parliamentary power to limit royal authority and everything in between
