Any strong chance for the prototypes to make it to production and release? I'm drooling for an XL of the Armstrong...

I marvel at the new designs introduced in Discovery. From the first episode to the most recent, all the starships have been painstakingly re-imagined to give us something fresh while being respectful of the original legacy ships and their ilk. And the totally bonkers direction the future took captivates the imagination, too. Things didn't get stale.

I've seen pictures on the internet of fully finished prototypes for the Armstrong, Dresselhaus, Annan and (I think) Currie classes, so those were all close, but apparently had not entered actual production.

Master Replicas has teased something about a "big news" announcement in upcoming weeks. My assumption is that they're going to resume production of the most popular existing molds (I mean what else could it really be?). I'm hoping those molds where there are fully finished test shots might also see production because the Chinese factories obviously have all the tooling, paint masks, etc. ready to go (assuming nothing was scrapped.)

I’m just going to shoot for the USS Jubayr, I’d be interested in the Avenger as well, but don’t want to mess around trying to get both and getting doubly screwed.

It's not as traditionally "Federation" looking as ships like the Armstrong-class, so maybe less likely to be a quick sellout, similar to how Nog and Liu Cixin weren't immediately vaporized. However, those two were available online and sent out to Universe subscribers, so probably wouldn't have had the same level of demand.

Looks like a drop is coming today consisting of items that are from double orders, fraud orders, canceled orders, etc..

I picked up Avenger and Jubayr today.

Seems like hardly any of today’s drop has sold out, I’m wondering if there’s just way more stock coming from the Chinese warehouses than was randomly scattered around Europe. Hopefully that extends to the Yosemite shuttle and mini-Cerritos, since I know a lot of us are interested in those.
