FUCK!!!!
That's not controversial.I think it's awesome that this thread has gone 700 pages. It's one of my favorite places on the entire BBS.
"Stands on" - Emphasizes. There's an exchange with Spock and Scott to make sure we know that Spock's mom was human (and that Puppet Balok reminds him of his dad).I understood the other 3 but not this one.
Take two Gilligan's Islands and see if that clears up. (Lost in Space? Green Acres?)You can all feel better about my comment. Karma has done it's job. I've had "Faith of the Heart" running through my head all day!![]()
Wow. I was snarky yesterday! My apologies to ENT fans. I'm sure when I get around to watching the show, the song will grow on me.Yes, dear. *patpat* Good boy.
I'm not sure I agree, but an interesting idea.
Yeah, no. Not even the top 20. Even Rod "I used to be a rocker but now I'm in one" Stewart can't save this piece of treacle.
Oh. It was written by Diane Warren? That explains it.
The 4th video was super cool.
A bland song for a bland show?![]()

Enterprise is better than TNG.
I dread clicking on this thread. I know I'm gonna be like "NO THAT'S WRONG STOP THINKING THAT" and then I'm like, but people are allowed opinions.I think it's awesome that this thread has gone 700 pages. It's one of my favorite places on the entire BBS.
For a few reasons. TNG has too many episodes that can be boiled down to "Deanna is assaulted in this one" or "The Soongs do some BS", and I'm just not interested in either of those. TNG also plays things very safe, with characters that are rarely impacted by the stories. So a combination of lots of skippable episodes + static characters might make it ideal television in the 80s, but I think Enterprise has aged so much better.I don't totally disagree.
Why do you think so?
Lie still in a forest and moss will grow on you. ENT could have had a better theme.Wow. I was snarky yesterday! My apologies to ENT fans. I'm sure when I get around to watching the show, the song will grow on me.
Admiral Forrest?Lie still in a forest and moss will grow on you. ENT could have had a better theme.
Seems to be more than that. Sounds like he's on some sort of "goodwill tour". Which militaries often do with returning heroes.Tom Paris became a morale officer for Starfleet upon Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant? A top-notch pilot, starship designer and medical assistant became a morale officer? Tom might as well tell Starfleet to kiss his ass and become a private starship designer or an author. Instead of . . . morale officer. Good grief!![]()
