Which Superheroes are guilty of Tax Fraud?

So I wonder how money works for Wakanda. I assume they didn't spend all those years in isolation using American Dollars or anything. Must be hard for anyone who is allowed to leave. I can see the clerk now.

"Maam we don't take Wakanda Bucks at this store.Would you happen to have a debit or credit card?"

Lady pulls out a card

"I'm afraid Panther Express can't be accepted either. We don't know the exchange value."

Panther Express is accepted everywhere.

T'Challa in the comics worked as an inner city school teacher, passing for an American, when he was starting out as an Avenger in the 60s/70s...

Entered the country illegally.
Fake social security number.
Fake drivers licence.
Fake tax returns.

It'd have been James Bond Level Spycraft, indecipherable from the real thing, but here's the rub...

When have you ever heard of a billionaire paying just 800 dollars in taxes for a year?

"well how about this big ass chunk of vibranium"

But yeah now you mention it how does Wakanda do trade and other stuff with the rest of the world?

Oh and I feel 50/50 about Wakanda Forever after watching it. I felt it was too long.

I wish I could have rewatched all of Jem I watched bits of it in the 80s and always thought the Misfits were kind of hot

Here's the Jem fanfilm I was talking about in the beginning.

The baddie, from a different franchise is Allison from Warehouse 13.

Why do you think Wakandan's don't have money?

How is Starbucks in Wakanda going to work if they don't have money, like Star Trek doesn't have money?

There's vibranium in their blood.

Theirs Vibranium in their meat.

Merchant of Venice anyone?

Oh fan films not sure about that.... I meant the original series.

But is there a Starbucks in Wakanda?
Do they have Blockbusters?

The important stuff :)

"Allison Scagliotti as the Baroness".

Don't look a gifthorse in the mouth.

The last Blockbuster in the entire world hides from creditors in Bend, Oregan.

The economy of Wakanda is kind of a mystery. At least in the movies. I don't know the comics. While the people in power have knowledge about the outside world what does the average citizen know. Is their a secret underground trade where people get stuff from the outside world that is illegal. Can someone get busted and have to pay fine if the local cops find Star Trek blu rays on them. Maybe Richard Pryor or George Carlin Comedy records. 80's rock music and so forth.

I think they are going to be doing a Wakanda tv show and if they do I hope they take the chance to show that underneath the kind of utopia look we have seen from the perspective of the royal family that their is dark underbelly in the society that has formed do to all those years of isolation from the outside world. That and the fact a desire maybe for elected Democracy were people vote for their leaders instead of having KIngs and Queens is starting to form. Especially from the young people.

It's what is in the cave, also it would have cost millions to get dozens of engineers down there in secret (shades of breaking bad?) to add structural support so that the Manor doesn't fall on their heads the first time Riddler lobs a grenade into the submarine pen.
And then there's the cost of "dissapearing" the architects, engineers and construction crew.

Well for some they can bring in various powered people to erase their memories of every working on the project My guess is they sign on for the work knowing their memories will be erased but when they "wake up" they will find a bunch of money in their account they didn't have before. Which of course is also the plot of a bad Ben Afleck movie.

Hey there, Paycheck is a fun movie, just with a silly story.

Phillip K Dick is not to be underestimated.

Also Identity Crisis.

The Justice League decided to brain wash and neuter their worst enemies so that the world did not end unexpectedly, or they were all murdered in their sleep. Batman decided that thought control was a bad, but there was some disagreement, so his friends wrestled him to the ground, and Hal Jordan, who is a dick, used his magic Ring to wind Bruce's memories back 10 minutes, as if they hadn't invited him into their conspiracy.

Of course that was early 80s Batman, our time, meanwhile Zatanna and Zatara would have taught an even younger Bruce Wayne hypnotism, as he walked the earth Picking up the skills he needed to become Batman.

Probably doesn’t need to. Everything it needs are within its borders.

People though don't live just for needs. You would think you would have people who simply want to explore the world and see what else is out their or simply go on vacation from time to time. That barrier keeping others out also made sure those living their couldn't get out. Unless you have connections to those in power it seems.

Also the place is filled with some of the most advanced tech you can imagine but is that tech just for the rich and royal family? Also the country seems to feel it is okay to send the Dora Milaje anywhere it wants without even consulting the local countries. With their tech and that kind of attitude it makes sense the world would look at this country as potential threat. Especially if they are one Killmonger away of a possible War World lll.

In Justice League Dark I think Batman is sleeping with Zatanna isn't he?

What he said

People who made the Adam Wast batcave were likely let into the secret and promised to keep it a secret and Batman accepted that with a handshake and they kept that promise due to the importance of honoring ones word.
