Things that frustrate us all

The problem isn't the influencers, it's the people who let themselves be influenced. Without sheep to prey on, the wolf goes hungry.

Q: How do you sell a whole crapload of assault rifles?
A: Introduce a bill that will ban them. They're flying off the shelves in my state.

Web appointments.
If you're going to make an appointment on the web, call to confirm it after you've done it. Don't make me call you and tell you that the slot has already been filled by someone who called a day or two earlier to book an appointment. Then don't get upset when I tell you the slot has been filled and say, "that's not what the web says." The web doesn't control the appointment schedule, I do; and I will book you based on the work needed to be done on the vehicle and how much time it will take. Don't book a 1:30 appointment for a brake job and expect to have it done in ninety minutes because you have to be somewhere by 3:30. That's not how it works. A brake job is 2-3 hours and has to be booked a day or two in advance so I can block out the time it takes for the technician to work on the vehicle and get the parts ordered.

I decided to take a peek at how EW does their Masked Singer spoiler articles. On the page, there are no spoilers before the link. However, they do stick the name of the unmasked celebrity in the URL, and if you come across the article from a search engine, the blurb flat out spoils it for you.
Oh I never really paid attention to the URLs so I didn't realize those gave away the person's identity. Never went their pages through a search either, but that kind of sucks if that gives it away.
Remind me again, why we can't simply have all social media "influencers" shot?
While there are a who are just obnoxious attention seekers, there are a lot out there who actually share some pretty fun useful information, or do pretty innocent stuff.
Although I'm not really sure who exactly qualities as an "influencer" would the guy who does the "Things I didn't learn until I was in my 30s" stuff

or Monte The Singing Donkey's "mawm" qualify?

A couple recent conversations reminded me of something that drives me crazy, when you have something you that you made or got that you share with other people, who tear it up, but you're the only one that fixes it or maintains it.

I mean, I find YT useful for doing DIY, house building tips and other such skills. I doubt that's what is meant by an influencer, though, which I find less interesting.

ETA: I found a new annoyance...people who let dogs wander off leash in the streets. Wasn't sure who it belong too, and got out because I was worried they were going to get run over. Pointless because the owner just looked annoyed...

Ewwwwwwww.
How the hell can someone who had a left hundreds of animals to stave to death, had a literal pile of dead bodies on her property, and who lied about being a 501c3 charity, only be charged with 17 "disorderlies" (whatever the hell that even means)?

I have a riddle: how do you eat soup with a fork?

The answer: you can't.

So why the hell would you put two forks in a bag that has an order of only soup?

The only answer I can think of... that person is an idiot.

Or not paying attention. They might have jusy been following muscle memory. Given how repetitive food service jobs can be, it's hard not to zone out while doing them.

So, I am not a huge soup fan so I probably am the odd one out but...I eat soup with a fork to get the bigger ingredients and then drink the broth.
