The Laris vs Beverly topics I seem to remember aren't on the first page anymore, but with the implication in AGT that Beverly divorced Picard after he was diagnosed with what appeared to be irumodic syndrome (or even if not, regardless they did divorce) and now Beverly outright ghosting Picard and hiding his kid from him, we now have TWO timelines where Beverly/Jean-Luc ended horribly. It's hard to see how Picard should realistically choose Crusher over Laris.
And where did I say otherwise?
Actors act—it doesn’t matter what point of view is held by the character. It doesn’t matter if a modern day registered member of a political party plays a character who was/is the leader of the opposite party. What matters is if they can act the part. Political litmus tests, for anything outside a specifically political job (acting ain’t one of those), is abhorrent and frequently illegal, as it should be.
So where did Vadic and her group get the assets and resources to build the Shrike and its ridiculously overpowered weapons, even mentioned in dialogue as such, in-universe? The Dominion wouldn't have built it as Odo would never allow it and furthermore I think the crew of the Titan would've recognized the Shrike as Dominion tech if it were. Everything we're told about the Borg indicate they're in no shape to be building those kind of warships after Voyager Endgame.
Probably an amalgamation of Dominion, Breen and Romulan tech plus stolen Starfleet tech.

I agree. I think he should stay with Laris and just be friends with Beverly.
If they already tried five times (!!!), they should take the hint.

With changelings in key positions in Starfleet, probably easy for them to build something like the Shrike off the books. It's also probable the Borg Queen provided the changelings with relevant technologies and data to pull off the Borg Queen's plan. I'd guess the Queen probably created the programme that changed the core architecture of the transporters, changelings delivering the payload. The transporter plot isn't that different to the one in Voyager in regards to detonating a weapon in the Earth's atmosphere to spread an assimilation virus.
Which ones exactly? The USS Vengeance was financed by Section 31. The Scimitar by the Romulan government. Chang's cloaked bird of prey by the Klingon government. And so on.
I thought it was Narada 2.0?
It doesn't need to be explained at all.
Did we ever find out where the pirate ship that was able to match the Enterprise-D came from in Unification? No.
We never found out where the raiders ship in Gambit came from either.
