Things that frustrate us all

I've heard that the Picard spoilers are coming fast and furious out there right now, and I don't want to take any chances. I guess I'm going to be woefully uninformed about world events for the next week or so! :ouch:
Not just the world; I'm having to avoid Picard threads here right now because of the spoilers!

Putting spoilers out there must get more clicks than hiding them, otherwise they wouldn't do it.

"William Shatner on his surprise appearance on Picard. Spoilers inside."

"Eric Bana upset Nero was recast for Picard. Spoilers inside."

"Ethan Phillips and Tim Russ discuss the return of Tuvix as Picard's main villain. Spoilers inside."

"Wil Wheaton on how the Picard finale sets up the next spinoff, Star Trek: Super Crusher Brothers. Spoilers inside."

"Jon Favreau not happy about Grogu's Picard cameo. Spoilers inside."

I hate when legitimate entertainment and mainstream news sites put spoilers in their headlines or right at the beginning of articles. Arizona is more or less on West Coast time, and there have been a few times where sites have posted their post episode articles with open spoilers in the headline or right at the beginning of the article before the episode has aired. This has happened to my mom and I with CNN posting who an eliminated character was on The Masked Singer before the episode has even finished airing here, and lot of times they'll even post a picture of the person with after they take the mask off right there on their homepage.
At least EW has the decency to not put the spoiler right in the headline, and uses a picture of them still masked.
It's happened a few times with other sites and shows too.

I decided to take a peek at how EW does their Masked Singer spoiler articles. On the page, there are no spoilers before the link. However, they do stick the name of the unmasked celebrity in the URL, and if you come across the article from a search engine, the blurb flat out spoils it for you.

Sleep depravation on top of not feeling spectacular. I took 80mg of melatonin last night and I still didn’t pass out until close to 4 AM.

I'm so sorry. My wife struggles with this a lot of the time. Much of the medications she takes would put any of us in to a coma, but she barely can sleep some nights. It sucks monkey balls!

On topic, I cannot stand work on our office suite during business hours. Pulling cable as we are walking with clients by the, and vacuums going off while doing therapy is not exactly helpful!

People who can't follow directions. For more than 5 years, we have finished early on Thursdays. We sit and wait until every paper is scored, and that means lots of down-time. The shift doesn't end until the supervisor says so. We haven't hired new people in years so everyone knows the routine. And yet..

Every Thursday, all I hear is, "Are we done yet?"

Did I send you a message saying we were done?

Your whole job revolves around reading skills but you can't read a GOD DAMNED email.

Have you asked your doctor about trazodone? Occasionally I take a fairly large dose (150 mg) to help me sleep. It's not a controlled sedative-hypnotic like Ambien or Lunesta, so there's little to no risk of developing a dependency on the stuff.

I might have to at some point. Fortunately, the melatonin worked last night. I’m wondering if the gummy version is weaker than a quick-dissolve tablet.

The gummy ones have always metabolized weird for me. I find the swallow ones give me the longest effect, but the quick dissolve tablets help me fall asleep faster.

OMG!

They killed Captain Shaw!

YOU BASTARDS!

I'm not sure whether I'm more mad about that, or the fact that the fucking BORG are back. Stick a fork in the Borg, they're DONE!

This is more a public service announcement than a frustration.

Long ago, I had a conversation with my bladder and my bowels. You'd be amazed the insights you gain from a simple conversation with your parts. We came to an agreement, which led me to two phrases.

"An empty bladder is a happy bladder."

"Empty bowels are happy bowels."

This concludes my public service announcement. Thank you for your time.

Help me out here, @Mr. Laser Beam . Is the spoiler in post 8141 a spoiler for episodes 1 to 9, or a spoiler for episode 10?

Remind me again, why we can't simply have all social media "influencers" shot?

Because injuring or killing someone because one doesn't like what they have chosen to do to make a living, is morally reprehensible?

If that doesn't work for you, it's also illegal.
