Damn, I am shocked by how terrible the hair is in the new posters.

Spock, Chapel, La'an, Ortegas, they all absolutely look like shit.

What the hell happened? Is this bad photoshop?

Where do you even find a hairstylist so terrible they can make such gorgeous people look like hell?

They look like they've looked on the show all along, although Chapel has had a touch more curl to hers.

The stylized and somewhat extreme hair design on the series is one of the more visually interesting things about it. Pretty successful, IMO.

Nothing jumped out to me. I mean, my hair is routinely kept short so perhaps I'm in no place to judge but there was nothing egregious about any of it. It looks bad?

Spock's brain thoughts have turned to mist in that poster. He seems concerned everyone can see them now.

Also I've decided Sybok takes T'Pring's pain away (from however Spock screwed up) and that's why she bides her time and is such a stone cold logician about getting out of the marriage in a way that maximizes his pain.

Of course, I'm always wrong about these things.

Mind you the size is never said on screen, so not canon.

Wow, fascinated by all the people who think the hair in the season 2 posters looks like it did in season 1. I agree, the season 1 hair looked great! That's why I was so shocked so many of these images look so shitty!

To me, the difference is extreme. Like comparing two photos of the same person, one at age 20 and one dead in their coffin of old age. They definitely look way worse in one of them!

So, it sounds insane to me so many others notice no difference, but . I thought the first few pro-posters responses were just people trying to be nice, but clearly I'm odd man out. Fascinating.

I didn't even notice until somebody said something. Which is how this sort of production detail should be.

It's actors' hair. Not the name of the ship being changed.
