Spoilers A medical mystery

You are right they are not major enough. Those are on a much smaller scale than some of the things Discovery or SNW has done. Intentionally so Admittedly by production. There is gonna be errors. This is unavoidable. But to do it intentionally and admit it and than try to reverse it latter is worse than any of the stuff you mentioned.

The fact that after decades of a certain Klingon look (with a great 3 story arc in Enterprise) to explain the differences the producers egos on Discovery go and give them a gold color and FOUR FREAKING NOSTRILS and elongated skulls...lmao.
LMFHO - You really consider that a major canon violation considering that overall the Klingon look has NEVER really been consistent going all the way back to ST:TMP? Sorry no .
Spocks wife having a significant presence in SNW is jarring as well as the fact the character is boring as hell.
The Turbolift funhouse goes against ANY type of tech retcon/revision that we have seen in the past 60 years in Trek. It was so ridiculous, I have to wonder if whoever came up with that idea even know what Star Trek is.
Again, there is nothing in Star trek canon that shows or explicitly states Spock never saw T'Pring prior to the events in TOS S2 Amok Time.
This is not even scratching the surface of the big ones and there are several smaller ones in there as well.
You can search all the previous series all day long and there is no way you will convince me that pre Kurtzman Trek contained less extensive retcons/errors etc than those shows. The sad thing is Kurtzman and company DID Trek watch all previous shows. They do a far worse job than Berman/Braga ever did. Thankfully even with the two worse seasons of Picard, they have been spared most of the DISCO/SNW silliness.

Now I will end this with what I normally do when I discuss this. SNW Is an improvement over DISCO. Still has issues but it benefits from more self contained episode. Too bad the Enterprise now has that ridiculous Turbolift interior.
Can I have some of what you're smoking? Must be some good shit.

But it does make it slightly weird that he gazes at a childhood photo of her instead of an adult one. ;)

The Klingon look had ONE major revision after the series with smaller changes along the way after that but it stayed pretty consistent after and NEVER on the scale with what Discovery did. Don't give me a picture of all the looks for TMP, TNG etc....because I have seen it and the differences are nowhere on the scale of DISCO. The one that sticks out the most is DISCO. Again Enterprise had a great 3 part story that explained it all and Disco blew that to shreds.

As for T'PRING. The opening scene in Amok Time clearly shows that T'Pring is a surprise to the crew. There is no way getting around that fact. Yet in SNW she is a significant element in season one and interacts with the Crew of the Enterprise.

I haven't even mentioned yet how the size of 1701 has now doubled and that's not even taking into account the ridiculous Turbolift interior ..lol

People on reddit claim that subtitles for 'No win situation' spoiled (didn't see this myself despite also watching on subtitles)

Jack hearing the Borg queen apparently. Now they're saying that Jack's part Borg due to Locutus sperm or something. Not sure why that suddenly makes him of interest to changelings, I don't recall them having any interest in Borg before so not sure why they suddenly do now. Has anyone checked on how Miral Paris is doing, considering her mom was also a Borg in one episode, and if the changeling are after her too?

Also keep in mind that adult Miral is shown in Voyager Endgame perfectly fine, so whatever Borg problems she may or may not have inherited would've been cured in that alternate timeline.

my friend in the states says there's no name on Paramount+, and here in Canada it just says 'Whispering Voice(s)

Mine also said Whispering voices. But if what your friend says is true. I am betting it is..... It's actually a neat twist....

I've seen it cited multiple times on reddit but not a single screenshot. Regardless
If Jack is indeed compromised by the Borg or whatever, why doesn't he say something about his visions? And it would be even MORE jarring to ignore friendly Borg Queen Jurati from last season--if anyone can help Jack out, it probably would be her.

I don't know how a thread on Picard and The Quickening got into a self-pleasuring argument on T'Pring, but...

Other than agreeing with the poster above that it looks like Vecna () this looks less like The Quickening, but we've also crossed off the "telepathic nebula" theory...
