And the Next Cancelled Show is...

That's fair enough.. What's the difference between UK and USA market?

Shows in the UK can have seasons of different lengths and years in between. USA audiences are used to a schedule, 22 episodes of Law & Order that start in September and end in May. Streaming has changed things up a bit.

Didn't The Mighty Ducks loose Estevez after season 1? How did they go on without their link to the movies?

TV shows in the USA can't have years in between seasons and expect much of an audience when they return. This isn't the UK. Carnival Row just came back this week and the previous season was in 2019 (and it's already been canceled).

Yeah, not to mention that sometimes when a show returns from a long absence, I tend to forget who's who and what's happened, especially when there isn't an adequate recap. Shows that have lost my interest this way have been Virgin River & Russian Doll. Shows that have long absences should have good recaps, but most of them are inadequate.

They went to an elite summer program which was run by Josh Duhamel. They were invited by mistake since the invitation was meant for the season 1 Ducks team.

Judge Mathis and (the current incarnation of) The People's Court have been cancelled as of the ends of their currently airing seasons.

I only saw a few episodes of the Judge Wapner version of People's Court when I was a kid. I had no idea they had the same judge since 2001.

At this point... whoever is watching these shows... how long would it take for them to notice they are watching repeats?

There are some shows that they can EASILY stop production and no one would notice (like 2 years olds wouldn't know the difference with Teletubbies)

It wasn't the same team that was featured in season 1? I enjoyed the first season, but lost interest when Estevez dropped out and haven't gotten around to watching season 2.

It's the same team, but they weren't the Ducks in season 1. They won the name from the Ducks.

Everyone seems to think The Resident won't be renewed and the season finale was written to serve as a series finale if it doesn't get picked up.

It really felt like a series finale to me. I will be surprised if it gets another season.
