Spoilers Star Trek: Titan series (now with Picard S3 spoilers)

To be fair, that was decades ago.

But then I've seen his writing/teleplay work on Titans... and it makes Batman and Robin looks Shakespearean.

At least Worf and Georgiou would complement each other perfectly in terms of their fighting methods.

I would prefer a good mix of old and new characters in a new series.

Worf is like what Samantha Carter was on Stargate.
Started as Lieutenant junior grade / Air Force Captain you could see them grow and become leaders themselves (Starfleet Captain / Full Bird Colonel) on different series.

I’d love something like this. SNW, for me, was an absolute triumph but I’m also a bit fed up of the seemingly constant need to revisit this period in Starfleet history. There’s so much to explore after Nemesis/Picard. What’s happened to the Cardassians? How much of a nuisance are the Tal Shiar? How did the Klingons react to the destruction of Romulus?

And that’s before you factor in new species, new missions and a new ship too.
 
I am gonna withold judgement on a Titan series until after S3 is over, but I am intruiged. Be it Shaw or Seven at the helm. The TNG Crew can make cameos. Shaw, Seven, Raffi, and the children of Beverly & Geordi can be the main cast. Worf likely plays a big role. Jurati & Elnor are still knocking around. As are Voyager crew and DS9 characters.

The end of the Dominion war, fallout from the destruction of the Romulan star, and lots of other juicy stuff to explore.

Oh please. You want to talk about a Star Trek time period that's been done to death? Comparatively to the 23rd Century era, which has 117 live action episodes, (127 if you include the produced but unaired SNW season 2 episodes), and six feature films, the 24th century era has 556 live action episodes (after Picard season 3 finishes) and four feature films.

If there's any era in Star Trek thats been done to death doesn't need to be revisited, it's the 24th+ century era.

Hardly a new “sin” in Trek, if it is one at all. DS9 jumped between The Magnificent Ferengi, Waltz, Who Mourns for Morn and Far Beyond the Stars in the space of four episodes.

Hell, TOS went from Wolf in the Fold to Trouble with Tribbles, and The Doomsday Machine to Catspaw and I, Mudd.
 
I would love for the Titan series to be a spin-off to Picard and a spiritual successor to DS9 especially after I just finished watching the DS9 "What We Left Behind" Documentary and their "pitch" for the first episode of "Season 8".

I don’t believe there was much excuse for the “Oh please” to open his post. It was condescending and rude imo.

I always try and be respectful to everyone whether they agree with my opinion or not. I don’t think it’s too much to expect that back.
 
I'd go for a more open series, Have the Titan as the main, but have other characters off doing something else, something like what Raffi is doing this season.
Maybe do a Lower Decks style where a whole episode is on Cardasia, with some Cardasian that would lead up to something.
Something like a Outer Limits, but confined to a particular time/story that intertwines.

An "Oh please" isn't actionable. Calling somebody a condescending tit is straight-up flaming, which is actionable. Don't do it again.
