Always liked the idea of exploring a whole new Galaxy.

Something different would be a Section 31 show. I want to see how the intelligence agencies of all the major powers really work.

Though everyone would expect a new series would be on the Titan-A, there is an Easter-Egg in Picard that the Enterprise-F is due for early decommissioning: "... severely compromised during the Monfette Gambit". So could a Captain Seven & company be on the Enterprise-G?

Hah. I'll actually entertain your opinion here. I'm genuinely curious. Why don't you like Jack Crusher thus far?

What would you suggest to improve his character?

Why would it need to be Seven?

Honestly, I see Picard S3 as the Titan series. We're getting 10 episodes primarily on the Titan with both of her Captains in charge.

The best option for a new 25th century Trek series is a brand new ship and new crew. It makes it so much easier for new audiences to jump in, when its a fresh start instead of another spinoff, and I would hope P+ wants to expand the Trek audience to new viewers.

They could still potentially have Enterprise F continue in some form. Have her be getting a Refit (as the Titan did). I suspect Matalas wanted to honor the STO Odyssey Class Enterprise, while leaving the possibility of a new Enterprise to come.

He's slimey, untrustworthy, and uninteresting. He's the least interesting part of the season. Why would I want a series starring him?

I suppose the best way to go would be basically a modernised version of TNG with a new ship, new crew and new setting that doesn't rely on nostalgia or connections to existing Trek characters and tells traditional Trek stories in semi serialised way to cater to modern tv audience expectations. Set it 100 years after TNG or something with a ship exploring an unchartered region of space.

I want to see an early 25th century show with a fresh crew of new characters.

    My wish list:

    1) Academy series set in 32nd century
    2) Michelle Yeoh miniseries w Worf and Raffi
    3) Enterprise G series w Seven (I don't like the Titan)

Since they want to space these out, I'm assuming that Academy series takes Discovery's slot and rolls over production team and Enterprise G show takes Picard's slot and team.

S31 miniseries to bridge end of Pic S3 and beginning of Ent G show

Well they'd save a lot of money as they wouldn't need expensive visual effects.;)

Right now the top of my wishlist is a show continuing in the 25th century with Seven commanding the Titan. I'd also be down for an Academy show, and with DSC ending that does seem to be the way to move forward with the 32nd century era.

The only way I'd want a Section 31 show is if the characters come to realize how fucked up the organization is and they work to take it down from the inside.

Star Trek: Wagon Train To the Stars (Place holder title)
Make a show that is more literal to Roddenberry's pitch, which was built on the old Wagon Train series
Colony ship (Maybe more than one) on it's way to a world beyond the edge of Federation space. Civilian ship with a civilian crew. Stories arise from people in the "wagon train" who are seeking a new life or a new start and those they meet along the way. They might meet bandits/pirates, aliens, Starfleet patrols, traders and others who would also be story fodder. Not like Voyager trying to get home or Galactica fleeing the Cylons. These people want to be out there.

I think it should die. I think it's time for Hollywood to consider creating a new sci-fi franchise.

Franchises start out as shows or movies that become big hits and lead to spin-offs. Hollywood doesn't create a franchise until there's sufficient demand for it. Closest thing we have to that is Avatar.

If I ever lost interest in Star Trek, I wouldn't wish for it to die; I would simply enjoy other entertainment instead.

It would be nice if a new franchise would happen. But Trek is entrenched in culture, and trades on brand recognition, and the fact that fans tune in, even out of anger or disappointment.

Actually I like Jack Crusher. I can imagine how he will continue the story with him joining Starfleet Academy, and start the Starfleet Academy series.

He's the type of Rogue Character. Not a proper, dutiful, teacher pet type of character. But he can change. Plus, he's a bit of JJ Abram's Kirk type of character (not the prime Uni Kirk one). Who start like a rogue personality person.
