Yeoh's price is likely way up and availability way down, thanks to that Oscar she just won.
Overall I've enjoyed Discovery, but I do somewhat agree what my husband said with it came on; "This isn't Star Trek - This is Star Trek .............. Adjacent."
*This sentiment may be a little controversial.
I suddenly remember a conversation I was having with a coworker at a new job in 2016 when he found out I was a fan and asked if I was excited for the new Star Trek show. My answer was something to the effect of, "Sure, if they ever actually come out with it."2024? I thought it was supposed to come out this year?
I saw speculation that it has been delayed to shoot a proper ending.2024? I thought it was supposed to come out this year?
It's that terrible idea that's been kicking around for decades since they were first uncertain whether Shatner & Co. would do another TOS movie.Just out of curiosity, why do you always seem so opposed to a SFA show?
So it makes me wonder if Lower Decks will be next on the chopping block as its in fourth season already and will be probably be getting a fifth.
that's true given how long Family Guy, the Simpsons and South Park have been on.Animation costs a fraction of live action, so animated trek can deal with a more niche audience.

But ultimately, whatever prize there is goes to him. And he deserves it.I personally think five, mainly because a lot of shows these days voluntarily pull the plug after their fifth season.
Well, along with Picard's ending, this opens 20 weeks a year for 2 new series.
Optimism!
