I'm looking forward to this episode. I hope we start getting some meat to this story considering there is 7 episodes left and they say it's the final season.

They've dropped Frontier Day and the 250th anniversary of starfleet's deep space missions into the mix, so I think the best bet is Earth's first foe. The Suliban. It's all about legacy.

I like this idea.

Not a huge time travel fan, but an ENT tie in would be fantastic. Did not like the way that ended. Next to last was great.

The Beverly quote in this trailer makes it pretty obvious
they're only after Jack because he's Picard's son ... perhaps Vadic's been tasked with tracking down Picard's son for The Big Baddy in exchange for being given the Daystrom portal weapon for her own purposes (which would explain why the first target was such an inconsequential one ... not designed for maximum destruction, merely to demonstrate the weapon's capabilities to justify her effort) by Lore, Moriarty, et al.

Then again, my money's still on Armus.

They do in real life
At least in my experience, yes they do. Especially over longer periods of time, and going through major life stages/psychosocial challenges.

I can honestly say my personality is far different than even 5 years ago when I changed careers. I'm less likely to commit my time, more cautious, but also more wiling to accept a challenge. I'm a little more irritable with people who are impatient, and struggle with socializing as much. Life changes people.

Yes. You grew and evolved.

Assuming we're excluding any influence of mental illness, but don't completely change who they are. They may gain new perspectives and/or outlooks from all their life's experiences that may affect various opinions, but people don't change who they fundamentally are -- people might switch political parties hey don't go from an Aries to a Virgo, so to speak.

I suppose that's the intent to show here, but unfortunately the writing lacks the maturity and nuance necessary.
