This is a really cool interview with the actress who plays T’Veen. Apparently she and the producers have agreed that T’Veen is three quarters Vulcan and one quarter Deltan. I’m hoping for more background on the character. That would be quite a love story/family dynamic for fan fiction writers to explore.

I'm glad for the interesting character but I really don't imagine much will be done with her, outside of fan fiction or novels or both.

I read both, so it would be welcome if someone decided to expand on the actress’s ideas. If they do decide to do a spinoff, T’Veen should definitely have an expanded role along with the rest of the bridge crew.

Apparently the actress is a cancer survivor. It’s neat that she turned it into a way to add depth to her character.

I've always found "bald" women to be sexy, exotic and fierce, thanks to the character Ilia being introduced during my formative years as a young lad. I just wish more women would have the confidence to "rock the look"...

While I love the idea and would be intrigued to see T'Veen developed on Star Trek: Seven, it does feel a little bit like, "We have to show how lonely Han was to explain his goofy sci-fi last name of Solo." Can't a Vulcan just be bald?

So...that would mean she can do a Vulcan neck pinch, but make it painless for the recipient?

Based on my recent rereading and rewatching of several nerve pinches it definitely isn't always painless.
