Spoilers Andor season one

As I said when he got imprisoned...he got six years for nothing. That'll radicalize anyone. He doesn't need it to be something typical. That HURTS, that is relatable, that is an injustice. That should get anyone on the path to rebellion. It's not even, 'oh I was part of this protest, or I was doing a crime', he got abused by the system personally. It's seeping its tendrils everywhere. I dunno if Niamos had the reputation of being a libertine respite of the galaxy, but judging Andor's character, I doubt he would had went there if he knew there was some reputation of it being a trap for regular people, so it comes as a shock. Hell, he might had been fine with six months, even, but six years???

Something to think about: the way the Galactic Empire imprisoned him arbitrarily and then used him and his fellow prisoners for slave labor has some very notable similarities to the way the United States legal system treats black people and Latinos.

Yeah, the allegorical element there isn't hard to spot. See also: the old British Empire practice of using "transporting" in lieu of a prison sentence to bolster the colonial workforces, or any kind of privately run prison system where the inmates are forced to work with little to no pay, resulting in obscene profits for the company (not just modern day; the Victorians were fond of that one too.)
No one ever expects a second Death Star.
It's chief weapon was surprise.

What you're describing is a cheap revenge story, which is not what 'Andor' has been thus far and doesn't seem to be where it's going. It's a story about radicalisation, both of Cassian & of Syril (also Mon Mothma, Luthen, and Saw all at various stages), and I doubt the show will squander what few episode remain of it's final season to such a dead-end plotline.
We already know how Cassian gets so jaded. He told us in 'Rogue One', and we literally saw him do it in his introduction, and struggle with it on Eadu; committing atrocities in the name of freedom. That's his whole arc in the movie.

Adding "and also sister was dead, then not, the dead again" adds nothing to that. Indeed the way season one ended it seemed pretty clear he was putting all of that stuff with Kenari behind him and is moving on to a new purpose. The show's job now is to depict and contextualize all of those terrible things he has to do.

And not to put too fine a point on it, but motivating a male protagonist by having the villain murder a female character they care for is not a good look. Fridging Kerri is not the smart move here (mostly because she's already dead), and this show has already proven it's more sophisticated than that.
Yeah, you're probably right, and we definitely want to avoid any fridging. I was just trying to think of a way that he could find her, but it wouldn't be a happy ending for him.
But like I said before, I doubt they'll go back to his search for her. If his was really going to be that important, they probably would have dealt with it a lot more, instead of pretty much moving on from it after the first episode.
But like I said before that, I doubt we'll do anything more with his search for Kerri, they seemed to move on from it pretty

So it's like the Spanish Inquisition?

An all-new Phase II Clone Trooper sculpt(and plain white on top of that) based on Andor was revealed today in a Hasbro Star Wars livestream. At just one per case, though, this one's going to be a hard score at retail and scalper bait.

As a moderate collector, I gave up trying to find figures in stores about ten years ago. 'Tis a fool's errand. Just buy online and you'll be fine.

I use it when I have to or for preorders for the really cool stuff that's an online exclusive anyways. But I still manage to find a decent amount at brick-and-mortar. It's a lot harder, though, than it was ten years ago.

Online has become to intermittent for me. Can't have the wife mad when a charge pops up because it suddenly decided to process. Finances are too tight for that.

Is that based on Andor meaning from the flashback?

About as a general courtesy we not just post potential season two spoilers in the clear, in the season one thread? Especially if it's leaked material.
