Will there be two winners: One for best female performer and one for best male?
Though I'd love that, I found that not to be feasible when I started the annual award-themed contest a few years ago, as the avatar contests need one clear winner to determine who gets to do the next contest. It also wouldn't account for non-binary actors like The Foundation's Leah Harvey.

I almost suggested three winners for the latter reason.

It’s admittedly beyond the normal rules but maybe a run off?

I almost suggested three winners for the latter reason.

Well, that would be the "nomination process", and I gave rules on that:

Four entries per user, two for male and two for female actors, either can be switched for non-binary nominations.

You could have entered a third "nomination", even a fourth.

It’s admittedly beyond the normal rules but maybe a run off?

There have been run-offs in the past, but only in cases of ties when there wasn't one clear winner. To do run-off of the male and female winners could lead to unfair advantages for two reasons. One, there aren't necessarily the same number of male and female nominees (last year we had more male than female nominees, this year we have more female nominees), Second, I can limit the number of votes per user, but I can't make sure they give their votes equally between male and female nominees.
And even if there were solutions for these, a run-off still wouldn't account for non-binary nominees.

Less than a day left to vote.

Here are some of my honorable mentions:

The poll is closed, and the result is no surprise.

The Award goes to Michelle Yeoh.

And accepting the award on Michelle Yeoh's behalf will be @auntiehill . Congratulations, you may give your acceptance speech. *signals the orchestra to keep ready*
