And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I reckon the ghost of J.R. just wasn't powerful enough.

That sucks, Dallas was one of about only 4 programs I actually watch(ed).

But it got too ridiculous with absolutely everyone trying to screw absolutely everyone else.

They copied the formula for the Bold And The Beautiful. In that show everyone has married everyone else in the cast several times over

So, you're saying it's a Soap Opera?

Drama but they copied the everyone marries everyone part of that.

B & B is stupid in that respect

Brooke Logan has married Ridge and Eric divorced Eric and went back to Ridge
Taylor also married Ridge and Eric at one time and then flip flopped

I mean you get the idea.

All the complaining and arguing on the internet about what is and is not canon, you'd tear your hair off watching soap operas when nothing matters because they always use the "a wizard did it" option whenever they feel like it. You can get run over by a car, have your organs donated and die in the hospital, and still be brought back to life.

I've seen characters who have appeared as ghosts turn up alive.

You realize you were replying to a post from eight years ago?

It was on the first page of a 270 page thread, which should itself have been a bit of a red flag.

But it isn't against the rules... like resurrecting a dormant thread (even if there are new insights and opinions).

This is a very active thread...and it won't kill us to revisit some things. Many of these cancelations are of shows we never saw to begin with

I wasn't saying that with my mod hat on (I'm not the mod in this forum, anyway), I was just genuinely surprised they were replying to a post about the cancellation of Dallas (still bummed about that).
