Jackson was probably the most gifted athlete to play for the Raiders. I’d love to find the universe where he committed himself to football and didn’t get hurt.

I doubt it. Gordon fumbled on the goal line (his fifth of the year), on a team that is struggling. He had already punched his ticket regardless of what Wilson wanted.
