Due to copyright agreements with Paramount, no video is allowed at the set!Wow! I’d love to see a video
I don't know about all that, I don't believe it was Shatner's idea. Again, we were asked and personally I didn't have a problem either way.To keep HIMSELF safe....but like some celebrities, saw no need to reciprocate. Fame has privileges.

Yeah, I had VIP tickets for a concert a while back, we got to meet the band backstage but it was when everyone was still wearing masks so the photos are kind of disappointing.People are paying extra (I assume) to see a celebrity, not a mask. If Shatner showed up with his face covered and his voice muffled, that's pretty close to not seeing him at all. It would come across as a ripoff.
It's something he likes to do when he visits the set tour. A little Actors workshop if you will. He explained that they liked to do these fights in engineering because it's the largest room. I was asked by James Cawley to do the fight. We Showed the guests, how a fake punch looks real from specific Camera angles. As someone who grew up having been in many real fist fights, Shatner knew what he was doing. If he connected, he would have knocked me on my ass!@Chris PikE
Thanks for sharing! just curious....was it Shatner's idea to stage a 'fight' with someone (you) in Engineering? to show he could still throw a fake punch?
I wish he would pay a little attention to his clothes, show more respect for the fans.
Well done you. Wow.
Shatners a legend. 91 and still catching planes, staging fight scenes and entertaining the fans.
I think as much as he complains about it there must be some part of him that enjoys the interaction.
Saying that he does look a bit tired in the photos.

Get me in a room with Bill Shatner and the last thing I'd worry about is his outfit. I'd be more focused on trying to say something that's either not stupid, dorky or something he hasn't already heard 5000 times by now (which is kinda why I stopped doing cons).
