I’d be okay with DSC ending. The rest of what’s out there in production are good enough to scratch the Trek itch for me.

although I do think you could make an argument that DS9 could have gone at least one more season minus Sisko. But that’s only because they had far an away the strongest ensemble of any Trek show. You had 6-7 other characters that could have picked up the slack.

Definitely. And there's so much that could be done with it. Rebuilding Cardassia, Garak's homecoming, Bajor joining the Federation, Kira getting used to being the station commander, and more Ezri stories. To name a few.

I agree about all those points... except for Kira getting used to being station commander.

While Sisko was on leave between season 6 and 7, about 3 months passed. They had no idea he would return, especially since Kira noticed he took his baseball with him.

I think she already figured out how to do so during that time, and clearly did a good job because look at how she handled the Romulan situation on the moon.

Fortunately, in Trek, death is completely revocable... unless you die of old age, as PIC is going to.
