I passinonately hate Pringles!

I noticed that my grocery delivery service now has some upscale organic potato crisp that resembles Pringles. I'm curious to try them out.

I love the flavor and texture! All that salt, yum yum!

They're also easier to lick than those nasty chips with the ridgey things where each ridge is like the size of the grand canyon combined with the distance between Earth and Andromeda to scale.

does it need to be bourbon?

No, but it should be.

I dislike pringles. But they aren't any worse than all the other forms of junk food. In terms of mediocre, incredibly artificial terrible for you mass marketed foods, maybe a bit above average.

They can't be very popular here in Sweden, we've only had three flavors for the last 20 years, original, sour cream & onion and some paprika/bell pepper flavor that doesn't seem to exist in the US.

good for you - who needs sun dried mashed potatoes (i'm not that sure about the sun part, though)?

Outside the US, one can get some really...interesting flavors of Pringles, like Prawn Cocktail, Crab, Eggs Benedict, etc.

I ordered Malaysian Red Curry & Tandoori Chicken Masala flavors from the UK last year.

I find the standard flavors we get here are kinda weak tasting most of the time.

One thing you guys do right is Root Beer!! I was there a few years ago had one and it was delicious, the ones you get over here are naff.

Practically every brand is different. Some are a little more bitter, some use more vanilla flavoring than others. Of course, any soda flavor is wildly different across all the makers.

I had an off brand sarsaparilla a while back that was basically a bitter-er root beer. Pretty good tho.

Root beer is one of the best things. Especially over here where local draft houses will make their own.

I'm not a huge fan of chips (or crisps) in general, but a couple of times a year I do get a craving for Pringles, usually just the plain ones.

The hotdog flavored ones were pretty good.
what is that thing about artificially flavoured potatoe chips anyway? shouldn't they taste like potatoe chips?

disclaimer: i see no reason not to eat chips with a hotdog as a side

Recently was at Walmart and noted that they have three new flavors that I want to consider. One reminded me of a Canadian flavor of chips I saw, ketchup flavored. It was French Fry and Ketchup flavor, which could be good.

The other one is "Hot Honey" and looks like sweet and spicy. Be curious.

Why would they? Potato chips have been doing a wide variety of flavors, at least in the United States. I think it's like novelty ice cream flavors, but savory vs. sweet.

If I want to eat something that tastes only like a potato, I'll eat a potato.

If I want a different flavor along with the potato flavor, I'll eat chips.

Lay's recently brought back the Fries & Gravy flavor that Hostess had some decades ago. It's still good (fun fact: I don't like gravy on real fries).

I used to love Pringles, but I had to give them up when I started having issues with corn.

Pringles are the most neutral item I can imagine.

When Andy Warhol painted soup cans, he said “I wanted to paint the concept of nothing, and soup cans came closest to that”. He could have just as easily painted Pringles.
