I did think that this thread was started by a spambot at first though I do think that it is good to be able to share discounted/legally free ways of viewing Star Trek for those who might be struggling with the ‘cost of living crisis’, which may result in some people having to cut back on streaming entertainment services for every day ‘essentials’ such as food, fuel and heating.

To be honest, I would wait until the new series of Strange New World’s or Picard starts before subscribing to Paramount+… but if you have not seen ‘Strange New World’s’ season 1 then it is worth subscribing to. I think that ‘Discovery’ is on an app called ‘Pluto TV’… I think that this app is free?

If you live in the UK you can also get one months free subscription to Paramount+ if you buy a big packet of crisps. If you don’t like Star Trek, apparently they also have ‘Maverick’ the recent Top Gun film.

Yes, it's very easy to get a free month of a streaming service. But it's great to have a discount on a few months in a row so you don't have to race...

Plus you have the people that bought the 4K of TMP with the Special Longer Version (along with the rest of the TOS films on 4K), and feel like Paramount has gotten more than enough of their money this year
