You know. I thought the same thing about The Phantom Menace. And, while I care very little for the film, I think the different feel is what Star Wars could use. I think fans rely too heavily on feel, not realizing how stuck that makes a franchise. All these different styles ate what makes Star Wars engaging to many fans. If it doesn't feel like Star Wars I have to ask is that a bad thing? Empire didn't, The Phantom Menace didn't, Attack of the Clones didn't, nor did the Clone Wars. Our feelings are not always clear.The Ewok movies--undoubtedly infantile--feel more like SW than anything released by Disney.
And, even if it doesn't, what harm is done?
