The way I'd have had it, TOS would run from 1966 to 1976.
Then we'd lose TAS... I actually, genuinely love that show.

Figuring out how to rearrange things is like Tetris! Then we'd lose TAS... I actually, genuinely love that show.
Admiral Morrow's... line in TSFS about the Enterprise being too old then gets ignored. I'd have it so Starfleet didn't want to repair the Enterprise because the damage it took in TWOK made it more trouble than it was worth. Really drive home that Khan did a number on them. To quote Spock, "They knew exactly where to hit us." That's how I would've handled it.
I preferred TNG seasons 1-2 over seasons 3-7.
Love the go-go boots! Yeah baby!TOS still had the best uniforms though, the boots alone just reign supreme.
Eh...the maroons still strike me as best as a dress uniform. They look way too bulky and cumbersome for day to day service. I do like the idea of them having more of the division colors, but I think that another service uniform would help flesh that design out.If the monster maroons had done the three-tiered colour scheme, they'd be the best ones.
The Norways are one of Starfleet's best-looking starship classes.
There's parallels a bit with Star Wars too. Rey/Michael Burnham/Thirteenth Doctor all cop a lot of shit just for being girls and what.Just noticed something with all the Doctor Who talk online recently.
It's not 1-to-1, but:
'60s and '70s Who is like '60s Trek --> The version(s) people most associate with The Old Days.
The 8th Doctor is like Phase II (or TMP) --> What could've been but was cut off.
Davies/Moffat Who is like Berman Trek --> The modernized version.
Who since 2018 is like Trek since 2017 --> People complaining about "wokeness". Bringing back David Tennant is even like bringing back Patrick Stewart.
It's very loose, but I can see some parallels.
