Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Memory Alpha sez:
"The ritual began with each participant sniffing the other's right arm/hand. Then each gripped the other's right hand as to cause bleeding."
"It was not uncommon to break multiple bones during Klingon amorous play. In fact, fracturing a clavicle on the wedding night was even considered a blessing on the marriage. Jadzia Dax described the Klingon mating ritual as the participants 'jumping on each other like a pair of crazed voles.'"
I prefer my wishbone intact, thank you.

In the church of Star Trek is the crucifix replaced by James T. Kirk on a bridge plummeting to his death.

While I'm not a fan of mashups on principle, Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" X Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" practically begs to be made.

After a few dreams' worth of vague internals, sense of scale, and rather sneaky mood, I can guess by the lighting and architecture that I might be dreaming about a surplus B'Rel-class, probably modified. First, a dream of encountering some annoying Pakled trying to mess with me and beaming them over a "gift" in the form of an antimatter charge several years ago, then carrying a (decidedly non-Starfleet) PADD showing a small cloaked ship in orbit around a planet I was on (with several D'deridex Warbirds looming in the sky above which I didn't want to mess with) in a dream last year, later a dream of boarding a small ship that had a "head" section containing the bridge, and now just last night a dream of a rather dingy ship interior, with worn tan surfaces and amber lights dominating.

i always thought they should have made a tos time travel story where they show up in the american civil war and meet union colonel james t kirk
And they meet up with his best pal, the father of Benjamin Spock, Benjamin Ives Spock. And young Anton Chekhov can be there for some reason too. Oh wait no, these guys weren't born until 1860 and 1870. Disregard.
