Spoilers Andor season one

Mando is highly overrated. C
Book of Boba Fett struggled at the end but enjoyable most of the time. B
Obi-Wan Kenobi hit and miss but emotionally resonant. B+
Andor is in process.

Your Boba Fett score is so wildly off it really threw me after I wildly agreed with your Mando sentiment. Who are you??

Captain Benjamin Franklin Pierce, band leader!

Honestly, I know many will disagree about Book of Boba Fett but the fact that it helped me care about the character more in 4 episodes than in 40 years of EU/PT material. That alone rates it higher than Mandalorian.

I liked Book of Boba Fett (confession: My brain got ahead of my fingers and I wrote Boob instead of Book, which would have been a very different show) than a lot of people, but it's still my least favorite Disney+ Star Wars series so far.
Well there’s only gonna be two seasons. But later episodes of s2 perhaps
Yeah, it's 24 episodes over 2 seasons, and is supposed to cover the entire 5 years leading up to Rogue One.

Some people are calling Andor slow, but the shows I find boring are the ones that constantly jump straight to the action without enough character and story building to invest you in the outcome.

Mandalorian's still my favorite new series just because it's the only one based on a character we didn't either already know how their story ends, or already know a huge amount of details about.

Ah, ratings. The only metric in critical discourse slightly less pointless than ranking lists!

I give this discussion a D+ rating and rank it #32 on my list of most overrated talking points.
It's quite amazing the need to rate it, as if these shows cannot stand on their own with taking a baseball bat and cripple the competition.

It’s a fan board. People sharing their thoughts about silly TV shows. The problem should be with those who take their thoughts and ratings too damn seriously. Read, share (or don’t), and move to the next post.

I think Kenobi was the worst of I would say 5 not four because we need to add the Bad Batch as well. For me the list goes like this

1 Mandalorian

2 Andor

3 Bad Batch

4 Boba Fett

5 Kenobi.

Why is a Kenobi at the bottom? I rather liked it. Off to Google Bad Batch…

Kenobi is at the bottom because the Reva character was terrible and not needed. She was created because they wanted to do that Marvel thing and also Mandorian season 2 by creating a character they thought would be popular and they could spin off into their own show.

Kenobi should have been more dark and less of a team up with a adorable kid story. Anakin was wasted and the canon is really confusing though that wouldn't matter if the stories were better.

The CGI was really bad in away I found surprising because that stuff is usually always good. Shame it didn't happen after Andor because maybe they would have had faith in telling a more darker and sad Kenobi tale which is where he would logically be in that point of his life.

Oh, so wrong.

She was pretty bad and not needed. The story only needs one point of view and that is Kenobi. If you got a second one then it would be Anakin. Those are the only characters that really matter for this story.

I don't even think he should have left the planet. It should be him just dealing with depression and trying to keep up his training. Basically dealing with PTSD. Basically a more personal story and less stuff happening elsewhere.

what’s the Marvel thing? Is the spinoff character Fett or Akosha?

What I liked about Kenobi was the darkness of the character, the depression and regret. The other stuff was there because this is live-action Star Wars and unlike a side-story like Andor it has to has mass market appeal.

I kind of agree with you, but I liked the betrayals and her ending. It was unexpected and uplifting.

Might have been cool. It’s what I thought he was doing all that time. Probably what he still is in my head canon. But it was also cool seeing him get on that transport off world. It was hard.

The Marvel thing is where they now spend a good chunk of every new movie or show, setting up the next movie or show. The movies use to not be so connected. The crossover was limited to the after credits scene. But now it feels like they are always setting up the next big thing. I think they have forgotten how the Phase 1 movies and Phase 2 were done.

Ah. Yeah I don't like that either. Rather presumptuous of you to think I'll give you more time than this now. Earn it with a good whole story and I'll come back for more. I'm not coming back to find out what happens to a half-assed story in this one. Too much culture out there already to discover beyond glossy Hollywood froth.
