The Cards are opening up a 5 game home-stand against my Red-Legs tonight. I give the odds at 6-5 that Al-Bert clocks 700 this week-end.

Once you get into the Pen the Reds are a feast-a-rama/pinball batting practice machine.

#700 is gonna cost a shit fuckin' load more than ...oh thanks you can keep it for #697, prepare to Man the Sharpies Mister...Pujlos!!! If whomever grabs it is a good-guy.

Is this the first time that all players have worn #21 on Roberto Clemente day?

I'm watching the Mets/Pirates game right now and everyone is wearing the number. I don't recall that ever happening before. I mean, of course everybody wears #42 on April 15 (for Jackie Robinson) but I don't remember it ever being done for Clemente...

IIRC, that's always done by the Pirates and whoever they're playing against on Roberto Clemente Day, but I think this is the first time the other 28 MLB teams are wearing "21" patches on their uniforms.

The Tampa Bay Rays started an unprecedented nine Latin American players in their lineup Thursday on Roberto Clemente Day, going on to rout the Toronto Blue Jays 11-0.

Maybe that lineup should be used more often.

Judge has a real shot to break the non-steroid home run record. That's exciting.

Well, that was embarrassing. The Pirates tied a MLB record last night against the Mets: they had 20 players strike out in a 9-inning game. :(

Mets set MLB record with 106 HBP in a season. Still plenty of time to increase that number too.

1 HR off the starter, 1 HR off each of two relievers. It's more of a statement on the Brewers sputtering offense really.
