Would captain Burnham be aware of the born since she lives now 930 years in the future?

I know the borg isn't from Burnham's timeline, but they were mentioned by Laira Rillak and T'Rina in the season 4 finale Coming Home. I wonder if Burham and the crew of Discovery is aware of them now. Excuse my typo. I meant to say borg not born.

Burnham seemed to know who the Q, Nacene and the Iconians were when Admiral Vance listed them as civilisations that were considered as creators of the DMA but ultimately ruled out. The crew most likely had to undergo training to catch them up on the 930 years they missed out on. Probably like a summer school sorta thing.
