Just received issue 3 digitally, so adding some details about the four stories, in particular the digital ones that don't have an official description. Kill Captain Proton!, by Lisa Klink, art by Louie De Martinis A Captain Proton story by Star Trek: Voyager writer Lisa Klink. Explorer issue #03 Digital Supplement Cumulative Damage, by Chris Dows How the Enterprise got its refit... I thought for issue #1 and #2 we all got our digital supplements around the same time? Nothing in my inbox yet for the digital supplement for issue #3. (No physical magazine yet either, but I'm not really expecting it yet. Since I'm here in the "frozen wastes" of Canada, they apparently send the magazines up this way by drunken polar bear, or something.)
Digital supplement #3 came this morning to me and went directly into the filter. Look forward to reading the stories.
I'm not sure if it has been shared here yet, but at Mission: Chicago there was a single sheet of paper that listed the release schedule for the magazine this year. Given how spotty the release schedule was then I figured I'd best make note of it! Anyways, for reference the release schedule was: #2: April 12th #3: June 21st #4: September 6th #5: November 15th Personally I pay by the issue, so its been a bit of a pain keeping up with release schedule. But thus far they seem to have stuck to this schedule!
They actually have the onsale dates on the website (though it's pretty much impossible to find since the navigation of that website makes no sense) https://titan-comics.com/explorer/subscriptions/
Wow thank you for this! It’s been a struggle trying to find this info, and here it is all the way into 2023!
I finally got my magazine. Titan magazines is not good at letting you know when your subscription runs out either.I had to call them to find out and it was hard to get through to them.
I have to ask: Do I have a story in that issue as well? I believe my next story was scheduled for #4, but I'm not 100% sure if it's in the print edition or the digital supplement.
Yeah, I got issue 4 a couple days ago, but I never got issue 3 (I wrote the same customer service email I used before, and they said they're mailing me another copy). Of course, the issue 4 digital supplement is no where to be seen. It's like one of those desk toys with the two-colored liquid sloshing back and forth until it becomes level. Greg's story must be in the digital suppliment. In addition to "Growing Pains" by Peter Holmstrom, the second story in print is "Prey" by Lisa Klink.
I called the magazine magazine yesterday they said I couldn't get it and have to wait for issue 5.Before I get them in the mail again. ..
