I think that was because she ended up getting a gig as a newscaster or something like that in the time between the last movie production and the first season. There was a fair amount of time in between, which also explains some of the little changes in the set, too. She wasn't available for a series, but she agreed to play for those first couple episodes to do the transition from Zev into Xev.

I actually found the whole series on DVD at Dollar Tree about a year ago. I haven't watched them yet.
At a Dollar Tree? I dudn't know they sold dvd box sets.

I was surprised too. I've seen season sets for one or 2 shows but never a whole series.

The second series box set arrived in the mail today! Haven't had this in 20 years. A good price, $30 + tax.
Gonna order a copy of the third series in a few days. It'll be a little more expensive, but the shipping will be free.

Got the 3rd series set a few days ago. The original Acorn Media DVDs. They came from Arkansas.
Ordered the 4th series DVDs from British Columbia. Also Acorn Media originals. Should have them in a few weeks.
All told, these 15 DVDs have set me back $140ish. But it's worth it for such a great show. Though I still have to find the first four TV movies... lol
