What’s wrong with the protostar? It’s one of my favourite designs in new Trek, in fact.
There are Prodigy toys coming later this year. They’ve already announced them and shown the previews. You can also buy Prodigy t-shirts, totes, stickers, etc.
Can’t find the original post anymore, darn.“A scam”?
mmmh. I seem to understand it was produced all as a single season, though, so I don’t think this is the case. I do find odd they are waiting so long to air the second half, though. Can’t find the original post anymore, darn.
It explained artists may get a pay rise negotiation between animated television seasons.
Because Prodigy episodes are all ‘one season’, ergo TPTB pull a quick one over their workforce.
That's interesting; I didn't realize that the official seasons were broken up like that, as the top of Netflix's page for the show lists it has having four "seasons." But then in the drop-down, you pick "Parts" 1 - 4 instead of "Seasons" 1 - 4. I just assumed that "Part" was kind of a stylized way of describing separate seasons, similar to Stranger Things 2, 3, and 4 not using the word "season."I'm not big into following animated shows, but I do remember Matt Groening's "Disenchantment" had a similar thing where each "season" was released in two parts with about a year between them (with the between-"season" gap being even longer). Even if it hadn't been a Netflix show, with the ten episodes spread over two and a half months instead of coming all at once, that would've been a Battlestar Galactica-sized midseason-break.
