STS-123 is set for launch tonight (3/10)

Stag

A night launch which is always pretty spectacular. Heading out to the Cape tonight to see the launch and with a little luck get some nice photos. Will post them hear once I get back.

Anyone from here going?

Well I'll stick with the win player, and check the TV feed when it gets closer. Hope Stag gets some good photos to share.

Counting again -damn, how come this thing is so exiting to watch?

I mean: I've been watching this thing just stand there for hours and am still more entertained than I would be by watching a multitude of tv-shows!

Thanks for the heads-up guys! :)

I ran out to have a look, but unfortunately, we're totally overcast. :scream:

Still, exciting stuff.

Interesting tank video, wonder if they hit daylight before the drop?

Guess not, the flash system really lit things up on seperation.

Well, I'm getting ready to run outside and see if I can see anything on landing. It's dark, but who knows. The sonic booms scaring all the dogs in the neighborhood is always entertaining.
They delayed it..... they can't land when it's cloudy, but they can land when it's dark. Obviously not a question of visibility. :p
