I finally watched the Scoobynatural episode of Supernatural, and now I think a live action-animated Trek crossover could be hilarious.

I loved that episode. I was worried at first, but it turned out great.

Though from the sounds of it, there's crossovers on both sides. Mariner and Boimler will be going to Live Action, but we'll also be seeing Pike animated.

I'll admit that while it'll be nice to see a DS9 visit, I'm fearful of what they'll set in cement with the episode. Hopefully they'll skillfully skirt around confirming or denying certain things. Though I do admit to being curious to see what Ben and Kas' six-year-old kid is like.

I hope they don't skirt around anything. In fact, I want a five minute exposition scene where they literally sit in Quark's and detail everything that happened since the finale. While staring straight into the camera. We deserve it.

I think they will be playful enough and not confirm a lot. It will nice nods and references.

Largely because this isn't a DS9 show. It won't focus on DS9 characters.

Mike has said there be cameos, but I bet most will just be background characters like Morn, and the Klingon Chef.
