DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

Notice that Hollywood Reporter’s WEBSITE just copies the other stories. No source. The most suspicious thing about this is the declaration that this will NEVER be released anywhere in any form. We are living in an age were almost everything is released eventually. Even if WB felt that way now leadership changes. This reads like a fiction written by someone not in the business. No one in business would declare they would never consider earning back lost money spent.

One thing not mentioned in any of these sources is that post-production work has been shut down. Once I hear about THAT being done I will fully believe this story. Until then, I will assume its a misunderstanding due to the movie being taken off the schedule, which is related to uncertainty about The Flash.

Variety has now corroborated the story as well.

So there were rumours last week that it was originally supposed to be Batkeaton in Aquaman 2 but it changed to Batfleck after 'The Flash' got pushed. Maybe it's more the case that it's not so much pushed as quietly scrapped?

This is something I am pretty concerned about. That movie looked like its going to be pretty damn great...
 
Batgirl was shelved because it was made as a Streaming-exclusive project, which also puts Blue Beetle and Black Canary in jeopardy.

This just sounds insane. Is the whole film just not considered up to new brand standards or something?
