Cardinals become the 11th MLB team to hit four consecutive homers -- Nolan Arenado, Nolan Gorman, Juan Yepez and Dylan Carlson.

Huh, would you explain?? I can't get that game.

There are these enormous..."things" in the upper deck at the Prog, which have the names of various famous former Cleveland players emblazoned on them. They all look like a bunch of shipping containers just fell from the sky. At this precise moment I can't remember if I've ever seen anything uglier at a non-Oakland baseball stadium.

Apparently the team decided that the Prog's upper deck looked too normal and thought "Hey, we need to ruin this!" So there we are.

sorry for the double post but it just hit me: Is John Adams still banging the drum at games in Cleveland? I haven't heard the drums during any of the games in this series so far.

Also, there were two no-hitters going today (Marlins/Nats and Braves/Reds). Both have now been "spoiled" but if they had gone to term, would this be a record? Have there ever been two no-nos pitched on the same day?

April 22, 1898: Ted Breitenstein (Cincinnati 11, Pittsburgh 0) and Jim Hughes (Baltimore 8, Boston Beaneaters 0)
June 29, 1990: Dave Stewart (Oakland 5, Toronto 0) and Fernando Valenzuela (L.A. Dodgers 6, St. Louis 0)

I haven't watched baseball in a while, so today I sat down and watched a bit of the Astros at A's. God, was I bored.

10 Royals players have to be replaced for the Blue Jays road trip since they aren't vaccinated.

The Cubs are on a(nother) 7 game losing streak and are now tied with the eRds for the basement spot.

It's the Tribune Era all over again.
