Boy, am I ever glad I changed out the caption contest last Wednesday! It may seem like it's been up for weeks, but the current one has only been around for 4 days. And as was said, Running Spock will be with us for a while to come.

Regarding winners, scottydog repeats with his caption for the Gary Seven pic.

I had to break Running Spock down into categories. The best unphotoshopped entry was submitted by a first time winner, 26138. Welcome to the club, sucker!

Quick, to the Spockmobile!

The best basic photoshop, and to me the funniest caption of all those submitted, was Gertch's:

"Yoohoo!"

The photoshop entry truest to Star Trek was a combo effort from Shatmandu and Sir Rhosis:

Sadly, Spock arrived too late on D-Day to save Jimmy Doohan's finger.

And, lastly, the most surreal photoshop was another first time winner, and a person whom I bet we'll see a lot more great captions from, EliyahuQeoni. Congratulations and howdy:

For this week, we have Kirk and Sulu in the film vault, and Spock finds a girl he likes.

Shatner: I don't know why Gene wants us to edit The Alternative Factor.

Spock: He can have the feathers; I'll take the girl.

First signs the production of Star Trek went downhill were apparent when they began to use the Desilu editing room as a set.

Spock: Look at this freak! Yellow hair is growing on her tits!

 

[The Laughing Vulcan]

Shatner: "Look, we edit running Spock into all the scenes of the latest episode, and our ratings will double, guaranteed!"

Takei: "That was so four days ago, dahling."

Spock: "And from the summer collection, the Tribblini."
Sulu: "Big shot taking all the credit! You weren't the one who had to dye and peel all those tribbles."
