Only a few short years ago, I'd have been the same. But one thing I'll say about the pandemic and lockdowns, it helped me become familiar with the popular music of today. I think I'm now as up to date with current popular music as I was when I was a teenager. Make of that what you will.
By ‘Deep’ I mean I want to see them in the show itself, ideally as their Doctors (with shorted time differentials…. Maybe a wig…) but failing that, in the vein of the curator would be fine.
There is a set photo of a guy dressed like the 11th Doctor but it seems more like an extra because they are running away from something in a scene that's clearly focused on the 10th Doctor. It could be just a homage.
ThePostMonument on twitter is a good source Sleuths were able to zoom in and see who was directing https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FVYhLLCXoAErQGo?format=jpg&name=900x900
It was on a social media story. Can't find it now but I'm sure video and pics of it are out there on some websites.
And if McGann again ends up in a more active part in the 60th anniversary celebrations, that'd be meat to Davison's meaty sequel.
Also, speaking of Matt Smith, he's been spotted lately having the exact same hairdo he had as the Eleventh Doctor, leading to further speculation that he's gonna return as the Doctor.
Thankfully i dodged almost all of Chibnall run so whatever happened in that thing on screen i am blissfully ignorant, and long will that continue. :-)
Chibnall Who is kinda dull with occasional splashes of brilliance. It isn't some kind of crime against humanity or anything.
This must've been what the 80s was like if there had been the World Wide Web back then. Same kind of hyperbolic vitriol blown way out of proportion because the show didn't go the way they liked.
I'm not trying to shut people down. I'm just very, very, very, very tired of people going out of their way to whine about Chibnall as if he did the worst thing ever at every turn they get.
I remember comments published in Doctor Who Magazine in the early eighties concerning Davison's first season, to the effect that the show was degenerating instead of regenerating or that the sonic screwdriver (destroyed, of course, in The Visitation) would be missed whereas Adric would not be; also that if adults watched the show as it currently stood then they'd watch anything. So yes, there have always been complainants, it seems. And there have always been people who outright detested the show.. The internet just acts as an accelerant.
