What sort of Klingons are we expecting?

I imagine the makeup will be more detailed some how (HD era TV needs it), while keeping the recognizable look.

The way DS9 took the GEN upgrade of Worf's TNG Season 7 look and ran with it.

All of them

No love for the animated Klingons?

I demand Star Trek 6 uncut version with the full red blood from the Klingon massacre digitally restored (word was it was only changed to pink to soften the ratings). Shouldn't be too hard to do with today's tech, certainly easier than remastering TOS and TNG took.

I have one non-Trek fan I never could turn because it's always too PGish. Some R rated Klingon aggression may sway their opinion, at least for that film.

I wonder how many total are out there avoiding Trek simply because it is too tame.

Have you shown them Next Generation: Chain of Command Part 2?

Probably a lot. Safe, and sure. Even torture in shows like NCIS, Criminal Minds, or some of Marvel's Netflix are more visceral.

Not the right kind of R. Now that I think about it, even bloodied up TUC probably would not be enough.

ETA I just started this week's episode of The Boys. THAT kind might do the trick.

Remmick was so disturbing for 1988 some stations wouldn't even air that scene. It's still icky considering a man is being blown apart and down to his ribcage to expose a parasitic alien living inside him. So...yeah.

Only 9 years earlier, the chestburster allegedly made people throw up in theaters.
If they hadn't cut out that scene in TNG, I wouldn't have become a fan so young :D
