We should have seen another set of fleshed-out Ferengi aside from Quark, Rom and Nog.
They were very well represented, I thought. The Nagus comes to mind, also Moogie and, I cannot remember his name..., Quarks adversary.... Darnit.

Brunt was also pretty fleshed out I thought. It was a silly character, but he did serve as a charactiture for Farengi society.

Yes, but DS9's cast was already pretty full as it was. Not sure how they would have found room to introduce another group of characters without relating them to existing characters.
I would have cut out a few of my most disliked/least favorite episodes (e.g., "Paradise" or "Profit and Lace") to make room for them.

There were other things which were excellent with DS9 as well.Quark and the Ferengi were the best thing about DS9.
