Spoilers Season 1 episode previews, trailers, and images

I wonder if it will be the Gorn Reptilians, or the Gorn Insectoids?

It looks *really* exciting! The Gorn certainly have an awful lot of ‘birthing sacks’!
Since Lester Gorn co-wrote "The Beginning of the End" with future Star Trek producer Fred Freiberger, should Gorn Insectoids be portrayed as giant locusts?

How does this work? One is a lizard lizard, and the other is a lizard bug? I'm certain you're thinking of something other than the Gorn.

I’m guessing it’s a reference to them having insectoid multi-faceted eyes in TOS, vs more reptilian pupils in ENT, but ‪‪I don’t believe they’re meant to be different species any more than the various and varied depictions of Andorians and Tellarites across the franchise on different shows.

OK, so simply the Gorn. I never saw the ENT episodes you mentioned, so I'll take your word for it. :techman:

So...SNW will see La'ann Gorn memes similar to TWD's plethora of Rick 'Carl' memes? ;)

Haha the background music is clearly based off the Amok Time fight music
Love the small musical cue call backs to the TOS S2 - "Amok Time" Ponn Far combat music in that promo. :adore:

( I hope they are still there in the finished / streamed episode next week.)

Oh wow this is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Coincidentally I have just recently been talking about all of this Vulcan mumbo jumbo and mysticism in the Strange New World’s shipper thread!!!! I feel like next weeks episode will be quite epic and I will probably have loads and loads of rambling, random and nonsensical observations to make about it!!! I can see the shipper thread also getting quite active as a result of T’Pring returning, even if it is only in Spock’s head whilst he is battling himself. The Vulcan trial by combat or ‘Kal-if-fee’ (not to be confused with ‘Gallifrey’) as I now remember it being called, is my FAVOURITE topic in Star Trek at the moment, even more so than the Metron’s!!!!!

This episode clip has one of my favourite classic Trek tracks playing in the background in a ‘remix’. The original track is called ‘Ancient Combat & the 2nd Kroykah’. I wonder what this new variation of the track will be called when the Strange New World’s album is released? I can not wait for this series soundtrack to come out. Maybe they will release it towards the end of the season like they did with the Picard soundtrack, perhaps it will be available before the season finale so that we can get spoilers from the last few tracks about the grand finalé again!!!!!! :adore:

I shall rate my excitement for next weeks episode of Strange New World’s, 10/10!

Oh someone got there before me on the main thread. But uhh we've also got shore leave, hijinks, M'Benga going fishing, Spock deadpan and a Bolian.
