TOS COSPLAY

I just came back from another visit to one of my favorite places, The Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Historic Ticonderoga. James Cawley and his team do an incredible job so we Trek Fans can feel like we are actually onboard the Starship Enterprise!

Man, I gotta visit that place. I think it’s only about an three-and-a-half hours across the border from where I live. And the border is only about twenty minutes from home.

 

Where did you get the outfit?

 

Yeah, was gonna say nice velour tunic.

 

I would love to visit. There's a VR set tour on Steam, the detail is extremly sparse but walking around the sets, it's surprising how small it all is compared to how it looks on TV.

 

Stunning. Some of the photos look like real TOS stills. You look exactly what a 1960s Starship Captain should look like.

 

We should organize a Trek BBS meetup there one day. I'd enjoy chatting with a lot of you and taking a group shot on the bridge would just be the whole cake.
