The USFL is back? Why?

Kyle Sloter's play as QB confirms what I've felt all along- his former coach at MN was a moron.

Not sure he is anything more than a scrub at the NFL level. He’s been in a lot of training camps over the years, rarely sticking.

Tampa seems disinterested on defense and incompetent on offense. Not a good mix for winning a football game.

This is the first game to just be downright ugly. The Breakers have destroyed the Bandits.

No USFL trading cards this year. I guess Topps got tired of getting burned after the AAF and XFL. Plus they could only sell them in one city.

Tampa looked competent last week, controlling the tempo and moving the ball well. Today, they got the ball stuffed down their throat. New Orleans controlled the game from the first series and didn't let up. Tampa had no clue how to respond, going from listless to sloppy. It will be interesting in the next few games now that teams know how to dismantle the Bandits.

Tampa Bay Bandits vs. Houston Gamblers, Saturday at 4pm on FOX.

Pittsburgh Maulers vs. Michigan Panthers, Saturday at 8pm on FOX.

Birmingham Stallions vs. New Orleans Breakers, Sunday at 2:30pm on USA Network. Determines first place in the Southern Division. Probably the game of the week.

New Jersey Generals vs. Philadelphia Stars, Sunday at 8pm on Peacock. Determines first place in the Northern Division.

All times EST. No game on NBC this week.

He deserves the suspension, but it was funny.
