I successfully integrated a new rescue kitten with my adult female cat Margo. A lovely little black tabby called Lenny. I think by cat standards Margo is a genius. She walks into her vet box when it's time to go, eats only what she needs and is deeply empathetic. Lenny is more a typical cat. Eats everything, naughty as shit and running around everywhere.
Isn't it funny how they are different? Margo hates tummy rubs and will bunny kick my hand away if I try, but Lenny loves them...
I'll sort out some pictures later. After a brief period of conflict they now get along very well.
Margo always watches. She's always done that. And now with Lenny as soon as I start doing it, he decides that's the moment he needs to do his business.
It's the differences that make them fun. No two cats are the same.
'When my wife cleans the box all four line up for the ritual deposit.
