I strongly suggest you find things to post about other than genitalia.
Agreed.

And I always thought *I* was a little TOO interested in Jean-Luc’s body… ah well, at least MY interest is respectful

I liked it. Big missed opportunity though, I wish Jason actually was his child.Oh dear, they already did that story in season seven of TNG and it was one heck of a boring ass episode.
assuming it is even possible to control his heart remotely. Modern-day peacemakers are wireless, but you need to be a few meters from them to connect with them.Quite frankly, with remote control over Locutus' heart, they could have given him a stroke.
But strokes are not funny.

Well, of course. But have you seen gas prices lately? That private jet isn't going to fuel itself, you know.

I of course exaggerate for comedic effect. It's actually a good gig (with the occasional major headache, just like any job), with some great co-workers. But it's also volunteer, so I'm on my own for champagne and bon-bons...
not everything you see on tv makes sense.I think I saw a Bones 10 years ago where killer was hacking pacemakers that were feeding back telemetry to a host.
as you say, you need to have a data modem, either in the device or connected to it, and associated contract. And even so, it remains to be seen if parameters can be changed remotely (I would hope not!).If you're paying for a contract on your phone, that's unlimited mobile data that the heart can connect to with blue tooth.
when he was disconnected the collective continued just fine…Point is if you gave Locutus a heart attack or stroke, then you've given the entire collective, or at least the one cube that he was overseeing, a heart attack or stroke.
I've been predicting this ever since his ominous my-line-ends-with-me speech in episode 1. I really, really hope they won't go there; I think this trope would finally make me stop watching. The kid thing might actually be answered, just not exactly in the way people seem to like to speculate about here (I have very little to say other than “I love Jean-Luc the way he is and I would discuss those details with him in private because keeping this private seems like something he would appreciate”.)
I'll have to check that. I couldn't find the s2 spoilers.Remember that “Illuminerdi” website that leaked some character sheets for SNW and PIC? I checked their leak for PIC season 2 yesterday and EVERY SINGLE character description turned out to be accurate. (Same goes for their SNW character sheet btw.)

Though, it should also be noted that James Callis is a lot smaller than Alexander Siddig. And Picard's father seemed like a short guy. So there you go.

I really liked the Sam Neill series. For awhile NBC were making some amazing miniseries. That one and the Gulliver's Travels with Ted Danson come to mind.Merlin? I've seen the Sam Neill miniseries from 1998, seen Season One of the Cursed reimagining on Netflix in 2020, but not seen the BBC Merlin from 2008-2012 yet, but I've been meaning to one day.
I've got to say, James Callis looking a lot like Bashir (not his fault) and wearing what looks almost like a 2370s-style uniform (with the most minor differences), is kind of weird

They also say Q will be back in s3.
why? If this is indeed the last we see of Picard I’d love to see him retire with a family instead of being alone.I've been predicting this ever since his ominous my-line-ends-with-me speech in episode 1. However, given the way PIC is set up and has been set up, “happy ending with a family ride into the sunset” doesn’t seem to be the show’s style. And if they really bring in a son and go down the David Marcus road like the TOS movies did, said son probably won’t be there for too long. It wouldn’t surprise me.
If Q is so important to Jean-Luc's life, I really hope he is in Season 3. At least to say goodbye to him. If that doesn't happen in Season 2, of course...Here’s their article on season 2 from back then: https://www.theilluminerdi.com/2021/04/20/picard-characters-time-travel/
Their speculations are somewhat off, but the character sheets themselves that they quote are accurate (except for the names of course but then the names on those sheets are almost never the actual final names of the characters).
The Q in season 3 thing became news because de Lancie said during season 2 that they were shooting scenes for season 3 alongside season 2 scenes (presumably to save some money). That led to a lot of people thinking that Q will appear in season 3 as well although de Lancie has apparently said by now that he won’t. There was a different interview with him a little while ago where he declined ANY comment on season 3, so I don’t know what to think anymore.
Eh, I dunno. we will see when "Picard's son" is cast. If it's someone who is somewhat known, there might be incredible pressure from Paramount to keep him alive for a future spinoff series.
