Comments behind the spoiler tags. No plot points spoiled at all, but just coded it in case anyone wanted to go in without any prior knowledge of the general response to the show.

Just finished the Dexter one recently. I thought most of the season was very strong, and I enjoyed it very much. The finale had some issues with characterization, although I can see why certain narrative choices were made, and I didn't hate it, although it wasn't my favourite. But from what I've read online since, it was very... let's say, "divisive".

Despite some fun performances, the Twin Peaks revival ended up being almost as frustrating as the end of the original series. I can't really recommend it even though I'd been waiting about a quarter of a century to see it. As far as I'm concerned, TP ended with Episode 16.

Twin Peaks was such a great show when it aired... so strange and exciting, its a masterpiece for sure.
I dont expect much of this recent one, i'll probably have a look tho.
But that cast from the original....man!

Congratulations to @Orac , @vandevere , and @Vanyel ! If you would like to do a winner-take-all runoff, let me know, and I will be happy to set that up. Or if two of the winners just want to cede, then that's fine too, however you would like to handle it. Whoever ends up the final winner will get the honour of running the next contest!

Thank you to all the entrants and voters! :techman:

What if we do a runoff where those in the tie have to vote for only one of the other two? With only three votes to go around, there will only be three possible scores: 3-0-0, 2-1-0, or 1-1-1. Or we each rank our competitors as 1 or 2. Which ever gets the most 1 votes wins. If there is a two way or three way tie tie, the one in third place is eliminated (assuming no 3-way tie). Then all 2 place votes are added into the total of the remaining 2 and the winner should be determined. If not a general vote. Us voting for each other can be done here in this thread, as can the ranking. If no winner can be determined then the runoff..

I'm probably confusing people, there must be someone out there who knows how a ranking election works

Well, me at least!

Based on the proposed rule, 3-0-0 isn't really a possible outcome.

Just speaking personally, I'm not really a fan of the thought of limiting voting to just the people with entries and in the contest and excluding the rest of the community. Typically, if a runoff is needed, it's an open vote just like the original, with only 1 vote allowed per person, and often a shorter timeframe. And yes, this can occasionally still result in a tie afterwards.
