Can Xindi speak whale ?
I mean there was already dolphins and things on earth if any old sea creature will do.

SPOCK: Admiral, if we were to assume these whales are ours to do with as we please, we would be as guilty as those who caused their extinction.

There's specific subgroup of people to blame for the extinction?

WWIII?

Maybe earth's Oceans died when...

Antimatter?

Friendship One and the Malon?

Antimatter waste is almost certainly worse that nuclear waste.

Um?

In 2053 wouldn't they be using antimatter bombs instead of nuclear bombs?

HA!!!

Skaro!

They didn't use the nuclear weapons until 2053, because that's when they finally used up all their antimatter bombs and "lost" the ability to make more

So, if it's the Prime Universe that we've always been viewing (for the most part) then some changes to the timeline create alternate universes and some change the direction of the Prime Universe?

People have spent decades overthinking it. Writers are going to do what they want to do, there are simply no rules to any of this stuff.

I mean, sure she greets her customers with a shotgun, but maybe she's just errs on the side of caution.

Let's go over a few of these...

What is the "same thing" that you're referring to in @Andyliini 's post?

@Bornin1980something 's post had nothing to do with the butterfly effect or time travel mechanics. Why were you using a response to it as a launching point for a completely unrelated topic?

This one's a real doozy. @Timofnine neither posted nor mentioned a video that you promise to watch... :wtf:

And this post was brought to you courtesy of the multi-quote function. (See the + Quote option on the bottom right of the posts that you want to quote.)
Er, I think you've linked the offending posts to the wrong quotes. The response to my post (about Kore in the pool) was not the 'butterfly' one, but the 'laughing' one. And mine was a little humorous. That said, I thought Kore, while a bit reckless, was very brave.

Anyone catch the "1202 alarm" that kept popping up in the Europa simulator? That's another Apollo 11 reference.

(During the real Apollo 11 mission, as the astronauts approached the Moon, a "1202 alarm" kept occurring in the lunar module. Neil and Buzz were told that the 1202 alarm - as long as it was intermittent, which it was - would not be fatal, and so they were cleared to go ahead with the landing.)

Also, the interior of the simulator looked a fair bit like the Ares IV ("One Small Step") which is due to go to Mars in about 8 years...

Which just goes to show how confusing this business is. I've fixed the order in my post, and the responses still don't match the quotes for pretty much the same reasons.

So, what's up with neither Q nor The Watcher being a fan of Guinan?
Seems Guinan doesn't like to interfere, hence her "listener" status. Q certainly does and I bet Supervisors will if pushed e.g. Gary Seven.

Also, I don't think Kore was genetically "made". When she asks about her mother, Adam looks pained, like he's either a widower or had a painful divorce.

Besides, if Adam had created Kore out of a petri dish...she wouldn't have this genetic malady, would she? If Adam had been smart enough to make a daughter from the ground up, surely he'd have done it right.

Like anything else, you get enough moving parts, you can foul something up without intending to.

And Soong could be pained about it because of lying to her all these years...
