Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Egad. For years I thought the middle guy was the one playing Hanar. It wasn't until 2010 or so I realized Stewart Moss played both Joe Tormolen and Hanar. I do remember the middle guy, Bradford Dillman, from Escape from the Planet of the Apes, costarring Ricardo Montalban.

Oh, Bradford Dillman was another one of those "he was in everything!" actors, especially in the 70s. I just caught him as Dirty Harry's lieutenant in The Enforcer.

Boy, that's annoying. It's happened before. I thought it was because some were saved as PNGs, so I've been making sure to save JPGs. I think someone figured out it may be because TBBS is an HTTPS secure site, and my provider (GoDaddy) doesn't jibe with that. I've been doing my best to name the actor and show lately for those who can't see the pics.

When I save an image and it turns out to be a PNG, I always convert it to a JPG so I can tag it with searchable info. I just open it with Paint and then save as a jpeg.

Yes, like I said. I use Corel Photopaint to re-save as a JPG (I never do metadata though).

Almost in back-to-back airings......
I guess Stewart Moss was captured after escape and returned to Stalag-13

and John Hoyt became a General!

I was just at my local library checking out music, DVDs for the weekend and in the TV section they had the complete Mothers-in-Law tv series; the first season which starred Roger C. Carmel as one of the husband's before he was replaced in the second. What a somewhat obscure show to have the complete series of.

I just bought that series to place on KGJ (our home broadcasting station).

Just watched ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS: "Memo from Purgatory," guest-starring Walter Koenig as the ruthless leader of a street gang. Written by Harlan Ellison no less!

I saw that ep "when it came out"! I recently bought the book, too, which was excellent (though a bit overwrought, particularly in the "I HAD TO SPEND A WHOLE NIGHT IN JAIL!" bit. :) )

and I'm sure mentioned earlier in this thread, William Shatner in his own episode.

Someone should count up the number of times William Shatner acted with someone with a 'cocked eyebrow' schtick.

Maybe Airplane 2, with Robert Hays? I just finished rewatching the Starman TV series, and Hays's alien-in-human-form character cocked his left eyebrow a lot when he was confused by oddities of human behavior or language. (Which was not the only thing the character had in common with Spock, since Jane Wyatt played his mother. Or rather, the mother of the dead guy whose identity he stole.)

You misunderstand. I mean count up the total number of actors Shatner acted with that cocked an eyebrow. NImoy, Kelley, Lee Majors, Robert Hays. How many others were there?

Huh? I understand perfectly. You're looking for examples. I tried to get the list started with the first example that came to mind, with the expectation that others would chime in with further examples. Naturally no one person is going to be able to remember every single actor who qualifies. I happened to be aware of that one, so I tried to help.
