Looks like the strip of lights illuminating the registry is still there.

 

Looks like they (mostly) kept the Phaser II's look unchanged, perhaps some minor updating. Don't particularly care for the JJ-pew-pew.

Since they seem to be doing a trailer for every main character, maybe we should make a single thread dedicated to all trailers so we don’t clog up up the subforum

The phaser pistol does seem to have got somewhat of a facelift

 

I don't see anything projecting this web, but it could be off screen

 

It could be several things. The anchor points look to be on the surfaces of planetoids; it could be an automated trap.

 

This may be coincidental, but allow me to nerd out here for a moment:

Same thing I thought of when I saw that on the viewscreen! So far, I'm loving these little touches in updating things we'd see on screens in TOS!

 

Looks like a literal web as a trap with emitters on the various asteroids surrounding the ship. Really like it! And great to see the Tholians back!

 

Yeah, this one sticks in my mind because I mocked a similar one up for a fan film about eighteen years ago:

 

It shows a Tholian ship. Kind of triangular.

 

I'll not assume the race until stated on screen.
