It was decent but probably the weakest episode of the season for me so far. I'd probably give it a 7. The whole immigration thing seemed a little predictable (Even though I liked Teresa) and the stuff with Jurati and the Borg Queen was just ok. There was nothing in this episode that leads me to believe we are heading towards sanctuary districts. It's more ripped from the headlines.

Elnor dying was a bit of a shock though.

I'm kinda on board with this so far, but this was the weakest episode in the season. I more or less like all of the characters except for Raffie/Raphie/whatevetitis she just feels to harsh and out of place. Didn't really care Romulan Kid died, bailed on S1 half-way in so have no connection to him, I suspect he'll be back in some way somehow by mid-season.

And of course the future in this interpretation of Trek puts chips in people for ID and vaccination and stuff. That just seems odd. If it had just been the Universal Translator, sure. Maybe even vaccination aids, but ID chips? I dunno, doesnt quite track with me. Minor thing, though.

We'll see where it goes, I'm still cautious.

Homeless encampments are not necessarily sanctuary districts, unless I missed a scene.

Exactly, Seven an Raffie were able to go about their mission so clearly they weren't entrapped inside a sealed off area. (Though the point of Sanctuary Districts was too prevent the visual unappealingness of poverty/homelessness so it doesn't seem like there'd be these homeless encampments if Sanctuary Districts are a thing. ... I guess also with LA's size and population the homelessness is so out of control it's overwhelming their ability to encamp people. Seven and Raffie may also have just been clever enough to get out of rhe District and we just weren't told/shown.)

rip elnor but thankfully it's a time travel story so chance are he's gonna be fine at the end of the season
